About: 

Dr. Ha is a Post-Doctoral Research Associate within the Mechanical Engineering Department. She joined the department in spring semester 2016. Dr. Ha’s research is dedicated to investigations of strain path change effect on anisotropic mechanical behaviors and continuum based FE modeling from macro- to meso-scale.

Research Areas:

  1. Multi-scale modeling of metals based on 3-D microstructural imagery
  2. Simulation of springback of advanced high strength steels
  3. Material characterization and constitutive modeling of anisotropic mechanical behaviors considering strain path change effect
  4. Finite element (FE) modeling of sheet metal forming with advanced constitutive models: hot stamping simulations for press hardened steels and cold stamping simulations for advanced high strength steels (AHSS)
