Orientation Begins in Room W131 Parsons Hall. W131 will be set up for social distancing, sanitizing wipes will be available and face masks must be worn.
This is a General Meeting for new students with Department Chair Professor Glen Miller, Professor Meg Greenslade, Graduate Coordinator, and Department Manager Cindi Rohwer. Topics: Department welcome, Administrative orientation, TA assignments and more.

Students will each be scheduled for a 15-minute session. Please come early in case it takes less time than scheduled and wait in the Southwest Lobby. Please maintain your social distance while doing so. You will be able to register for your courses on-line after your advising session.

- Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) Training for Ph.D. Students, details to comeLink for more information: https://gradschool.unh.edu/research/responsible-conduct-research-rcr-training Note: Most Ph.D. students complete the 11 web-based modules and attend the RCR Training session scheduled in the Fall instead of attending Grad 930.
- Fire Extinguisher Training will be scheduled with EH&S. Cindi Rohwer, Mgr. will send you an email for sessions available. It is mandatory to sign up for one session.
- Lab Safety and on-line Hazardous Waste training will be scheduled with EH&S. Cindi Rohwer will send them your UNH email address and they will set you up for access via MyCourses. Hazardous Waste Training must be completed within 2 weeks of email notification by EH&S.
- PACS Training - Will be arranged. https://www.unh.edu/pacs/training
Attention: A weekly TA meeting for ALL TEACHING assistants – new and veteran – will be set up with Professor Glen Miller, Chair. Time and Day to be announced.
