Li Group Receives an NSF Grant

Li group receives an NSF grant to study hydrogenation of CO2 to methanol under sunlight.

Professor Gonghu Li’s group has received a grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF) to investigate sustainable utilization of carbon dioxide (CO2) in collaboration with Professor Jie He’s group at UConn. The two research teams are awarded $455,059 in total for their collaborative project over the next three years. The project’s title is:

“Collaborative Research: Solar-Driven Hydrogenation of CO2 using Hierarchically Porous TiO2 with Spatially Isolated Au and Pt Nanoparticles.”

More information about this project can be found at the NSF website.
