The New England Fall Astronomy Festival (NEFAF) for 2022 is a GO!

NEFAF is back with another fun-filled weekend under the stars. NEFAF 2022 will take place at UNH Observatory on Friday and Saturday, September 30 & October 1, 2022. For further details, check our website!

Activities are planned for astronomers of all ages and levels, such as previous favorite activity like rocket building and launching, safe solar observing, our world famous raffle of astronomy-related prizes, and a series of short, informal science talks by students, faculty and invited guests. Our Telescope Doctors will be staffing the telescope clinic and food will be available on site. Admission to NEFAF is FREE.

We are requesting donations to support the costs of the Festival. Donations of $10 (or more if you can) would be very much-appreciated and would help keep NEFAF financially viable for years to come. To donate please visit here, select "additional of multiple funds" and click on "Physics & Astronomy Festival Gift Fund". These donations go directly to help fund NEFAF. Thank you in advance!

Since its inception in 2011, the New England Fall Astronomy Festival has been offering a unique fun-filled and hands-on educational resource for children and families from the Seacoast and beyond! Hosted by the UNH Physics Department in cooperation with the New Hampshire Astronomical Society (NHAS) and supported by generous sponsors, NEFAF attempts to expose kids to the wonders and possibilities that science and astronomy can offer.
