About

We're glad to tell you more about the Materials Science Program at UNH.  Our program includes 17 faculty and their respective research groups composed of graduate students, postdoctoral scholars, research scientists and research active undergraduates. Our program offers research opportunities in numerous areas of science and engineering that cross traditional departmental boundaries. These interdisciplinary projects emphasize the synthesis, characterization and utilization of nanoscale materials.

MSP Graduate Studies & Research Collaborations

We offer competitive research assistantships for qualified graduate students. For information on how to apply to our graduate program, please visit our graduate studies page.  We also offer a 5-year combined B.S. degree in Physics and an M.S. degree in Materials Science - read here for more information.

We invite prospective students and potential collaborators to learn more about us.  Please visit our faculty pages to see the cross-section of interdisciplinary research that constitutes our program and to learn more about the specific research interests of our faculty.
