Statistical Consulting Services

University of New Hampshire Statistical Consulting Club Overview

The University of New Hampshire Statistical Consulting Club is a graduate student-run group whose goal is to strengthen and to improve quantitative research done at the university. We meet regularly with faculty, staff, and students from across the university who have questions about experimental design, statistical analyses, and statistical software. For software, we primarily use JMP and R, although we have limited experience using MATLAB, SAS, and SPSS Statistics as well. This group is advised by faculty from the Department of Mathematics and Statistics.

We provide advice and consulting services related to the following:

  • Data collection
  • Experimental design
  • Sample size determination
  • Data visualization
  • Determination of which statistical analyses are appropriate
  • Advanced statistical modeling
  • Statistical softwareInterpretation and presentation of results

We do not provide the following services:

  • Homework help
  • Tutoring
  • Performing data collection
  • Performing data entry
  • Performing data cleaning

When funding is available for our services, or when there is the potential for co-authorship for statistical consulting club members, we can work more extensively with you to ensure your data are interpreted, analyzed, and presented in the best way possible.
