Earth Sciences Honors-in-Major Requirements
Students are required to maintain an overall grade-point average of 3.20 and a 3.50 grade-point average in major coursework.
Students must complete successfully four 700-level courses, including ESci. 799H, Senior Thesis.
For ESci. 799H (4 credit, writing intensive) students conduct an independent research project under the direction of an Earth Sciences faculty member. Students submit a written report and give a public presentation (oral or poster) of their research.
