The Electrical and Computer Engineering Department holds a reputation with industry for graduating students who can excel and lead in the workplace and become valuable employees.  The curriculum is balanced between preparing students for immediate employment and further learning in graduate school.  The Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering degree programs are fully accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET.  

Students from these programs have attended and excelled at the best graduate schools in the country and have competed for and received some of the most sought-after scholarships. The EE and CE programs provide a firm foundation in fundamentals and expose students to current technologies for design and implementation. They strive for a balance between theory, laboratory and design experience. Furthermore, the programs foster teamwork and project management skills.
