Summary of Reasons for Price Increases
Click here to see the full message regarding changes to our tuition.
- Reduction in grant funding, which limits our ability to offer scholarships and free programs.
- Rising operational costs, including housing, food, materials and staff salaries.
- Our non-profit funding model, which means we rely on camper fees and private donations to sustain our operations.
- A commitment to excellence and offering high-quality programs, which requires significant resources.
- Please note: TechSplorers pricing has been reduced to keep the program accessible for families with younger children.
Registration Process
In past years, an application has been required before enrolling in a Tech Camp program. For 2026, an application will not
be required, except in two circumstances:
- Students wishing to join the Dinah Whipple STEAM Academy must submit an application and be accepted to the program before enrolling.
- Students seeking financial aid to attend a Tech Camp program must submit an application and should wait until a decision has been communicated to them before enrolling in a program. Scholarship decisions will be communicated via email by April 1. For any questions about scholarships, please contact amy.booth@unh.edu.
If the above circumstances do not apply, you may go straight to the UNH Youth Programs website, select the desired week and program, and enroll. Enrollment is on a first come, first served basis and registration will remain open until June 12, 2026, or until filled, whichever comes first.

Financial Aid
A limited number of need-based scholarships are available. Scholarships, if awarded, cover 50% of the cost of the program. Scholarship funds can be applied to any program, including residential programs. The application will open on February 1 and will close on March 15. Applications will be reviewed, and decisions will be communicated to families by April 1. Families should wait to enroll their child in a program until they have received communication regarding the scholarship. Scholarships are not guaranteed, as funding is limited.
How to Apply for a Scholarship: To apply for a scholarship, a parent or guardian must complete the online application. The application will collect basic contact information and will ask for a statement addressing why your child wants to attend Tech Camp and how receiving a scholarship would affect their ability to do so. You will also be asked to indicate which program you wish to apply the funds to (TechSplorers, TechVenturers or TechLeaders: Bridge to College) and if your child wishes to be a commuter or a resident. Deadline: The deadline to apply for a scholarship is March 15 at 11:59pm.
