How does an Ocean Engineering degree fit into your life’s plans?

As someone passionate about water, the outdoors, and the climate, the Masters in Ocean Engineering seemed like an obvious next step.  The Ocean Engineering program at UNH has allowed me to apply my undergraduate experience in chemical engineering and use it for research that has a much greater interest for me.  While at UNH I have had the opportunity to gain experience in the field deploying instrumentation while also taking classes that have immediate practical application.  Thanks to this, I feel that upon graduation I will be prepared to gain employment in an exciting field that is relevant both to me and society as a whole.
