Ivo joined the faculty of the Mechanical Engineering Department in 2015 after completing his Ph.D. under the supervision of Prof. Wosnik. At UNH, Ivo worked on the design of components and overhaul of the high speed water tunnel (HiCaT), developed a code for automating airfoil/hydrofoil simulations using OpenFOAM, and studied bi-directional hydrofoils for tidal turbines.
Ivo has taught ME 705 Thermal Systems – Analysis and Design as a graduate student, and ME 525 Mechanics I as an adjunct faculty.
He has been teaching Thermodynamics, Thermal Systems, Statics, Junior Lab, Introduction to Ocean Engineering, and Computational Fluid Dynamics.
